"AARP discount wasn’t much of a deal tbh"
I thought using the AARP deal would actually save me a decent amount, but the discount barely showed up at checkout. I contacted support and they mostly just shuffled me from one person to another, which got frustrating. Not a huge disaster or anything, but it defintely didn’t feel like the deal it was advertised as

I booked my hotel and used the AARP discount, and I thought it was just okay at first, actually, looking back, it really did save me a decent bit of money. Happy with the price overall

"Refund took a little while, but it was fine in the end"
I had to cancel a hotel booking last month, and the cancellation form was straightforward, so that part was no big deal. The refund didn’t show up right away though, which made me wonder if something got stuck or if I needed to follow up, so I ended up calling once just to check. After a few days it came through. Not the fastest process ever, but it worked out and felt fair enough overall.

"Not really what I thought I was getting"
The hotel was just okay, honestly. I was expecting more from the package, but it didn’t feel like it was really worth the price. Some parts made me question the overall quality, and I probably wouldn’t book it again.

The weird part is, my reservation showed the wrong dates, even though I was expecting everything to be correct. It made the whole thing confusing and kind of frustrating.

I was just trying to book quickly, but the site was kind of confusing and the pages kept loading slowly. This is where it got annoying: I didn’t fully trust that my details were saved correctly, so I ended up going back and rechecking everything twice before I finally paid. It worked in the end, but the whole process felt more stressful than it needed to be.

"Customer service just never followed up"
I tried reaching out to Expedia-AARP.com about an issue with my booking, it turned into such a hassle. I waited forever, couldn’t get a straight answer, and then they said someone would follow up but nobody ever did. Come on now, if you say you’re going to get back to a customer, at least do that. It really felt like they were just hoping I’d give up and go away. Super frustrating experience.

"Confirmation took a bit longer than expected"
The booking itself went through fine, but the confirmation emails and details took longer to show up than I thought they would. I did contact customer service and they answered, though the first reply wasn’t super clear, so I had to wait a bit to feel fully sure everything was set. Weirdly, I remember refreshing my inbox while eating a bag of pretzels, which probably made the wait feel longer. Overall, it was okay, just not the smoothest confirmation process

"Frustrating site and no one seemed to notice"
Trying to use the site was a headache. Pages were loading really slowly, the filters didn’t seem to work right, and booking took way more clicks than it should have. I even felt like whatever I was trying to do wasn’t being picked up at all, like nobody actually read the message or understood what I needed. I ended up giving up and booking somewhere else
